At RozgarWise ("we", "us", "our"), your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. By using our website at rozgarwise.com, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Who operates this service. RozgarWise is an independently operated service based in Pakistan and is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights in Section 8, contact hello@rozgarwise.com.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide directly
- Account registration: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Purchases: Billing name, address, and payment details when you buy credits. Payment card data is processed directly by our payment provider — we never store your card details.
- CV and career documents: Any CVs, job descriptions, or career information you upload when using our analysis tools.
- Communications: Messages you send us via email or our contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, credits spent, and timestamps of activity on the platform.
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs — collected for security and performance monitoring.
- Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. See Section 7 for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and provide access to our services.
- Process credit purchases and maintain your credit balance.
- Deliver AI-powered CV analysis, job matching, and career recommendations.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, purchase receipts, password resets).
- Monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of the platform.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes without your explicit consent.
3. How We Process Your CV and Career Data
We operate three AI-powered services. The table below explains precisely what data each service sends to our AI provider and what never leaves our own servers.
CV + JD Analyzer
Sent to AI: The full text of your CV (extracted from the file you upload) and the job description text you paste into the form. This is required to generate your match score, feedback, tailored CV, and cover letter.
Not sent to AI: Your account email, password, payment details, and browsing history. Your uploaded CV file is permanently deleted from our servers after 7 days.
AI Job Finder
Sent to AI: The text extracted from your uploaded CV, used to identify your skills and experience so relevant jobs can be found.
Not sent to AI: Everything else — including your account details and payment information. Your CV file is deleted after 7 days.
CV Writer
Sent to AI: Your professional information only — job titles, work responsibilities, education qualifications, and skills. The AI uses this to write a professional summary, enhance your experience descriptions, and generate your professional title.
Never sent to AI: Your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn URL, and home address. These personal contact details go directly into your CV document without being processed by any AI model.
AI Provider Commitments
We currently use one of the following AI providers (switchable in our system configuration): Groq (Meta Llama 3.3), Google Gemini, or OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini). All three providers operate under data processing agreements that include the following protections:
- Your data is not used to train or improve their AI models.
- Data is processed only to return the response to us and is not retained by the provider beyond what their standard service terms require.
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
Your CV and job description data is never shared with employers, recruiters, or any third party. It is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal information on the following legal grounds:
- Contract performance: To deliver the services you have signed up for and paid for.
- Legitimate interests: To maintain platform security, improve our services, and prevent fraud.
- Legal obligation: Where required by applicable law.
- Consent: Where you have explicitly opted in (e.g., marketing communications).
5. Sharing Your Information
We share your data only with the following categories of trusted service providers, and only for the specific purposes stated:
- Payment processors (JazzCash, Easypaisa, and Stripe for card payments): To securely process credit purchases. We never see or store your full card number.
- Google: We use Google Analytics to measure site usage, and Google services that support advertising measurement. This involves sharing usage data (such as pages viewed and general location) with Google, but never your CV, job description text or analysis results.
- AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini, or OpenAI — one active at a time): To process CV text, job description text, and professional career information as described in Section 3. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their models or for any purpose other than returning the requested response.
- Hosting provider (Hostinger): To store platform data, user accounts, and analysis results on their servers.
- Email service providers: To send account confirmations, purchase receipts, and support responses.
We never share your CV, job description text, analysis results or generated documents with employers, recruiters, job boards, advertisers, advertising networks or data brokers. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Where your data is processed
RozgarWise is operated from Pakistan, but some of the service providers above process data outside Pakistan. In particular:
- AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini or OpenAI) process CV and job description text on infrastructure located primarily in the United States.
- Google processes analytics data on infrastructure located outside Pakistan.
- Stripe processes card payment data internationally.
This means your information may be transferred to, stored in and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those of Pakistan. By using RozgarWise you acknowledge this transfer. We only use providers that contractually commit to protecting your data, and we send the minimum information required to deliver the service you requested.
We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the legal rights and safety of RozgarWise or others.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained for the lifetime of your account plus 12 months after deletion.
- Purchase records: Retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.
- CV and analysis data: Retained until you delete it or request its removal, or 24 months after your last login, whichever comes first.
7. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function (login sessions, shopping cart, security). These cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies: Remember your settings and language preferences.
- Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. This places Google cookies on your device and sends usage data to Google.
- Attribution cookies: WooCommerce records how you arrived at RozgarWise (for example the search engine, referring site or campaign link) so purchases can be attributed to a traffic source.
You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics and attribution cookies does not affect your ability to use the platform, but disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working.

8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and associated personal data (subject to retention requirements for legal records).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) across the entire platform.
- Restricted access to personal data — only authorised personnel can access it.
- Regular security reviews and software updates.
No online platform can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect any breach of your account, contact us immediately.
If a security incident affects your personal data in a way that is likely to put you at risk, we will notify you by email at the address on your account without undue delay, describe what happened and what data was involved, and tell you what steps we are taking and what you can do to protect yourself. We will also notify any authority we are required to notify under applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
RozgarWise is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has created an account, we will delete it promptly.
11. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our platform may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of RozgarWise after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
