Yes. We take your privacy seriously and are transparent about exactly how your data is handled. Here is a full breakdown by service.
CV + JD Analyzer — what goes to AI
When you run an analysis, the following is sent to our AI provider:
- Your full CV text (extracted from the file you upload)
- The job description you paste into the form
This is necessary for the service to work — the AI reads both documents to generate your match score, feedback, tailored CV, and cover letter.
What is NOT sent to AI: your account email, password, payment details, or any other personal account information.
AI Job Finder — what goes to AI
The text from your uploaded CV is sent to our AI provider to identify your skills and experience, which is then used to search job boards for relevant listings. Your account details and payment information are never sent.
CV Writer — what goes to AI
Only your professional information is sent to AI: job titles, work responsibilities, education details, and skills. This is enhanced by the AI to create professional language and bullet points.
Never sent to AI in CV Writer: your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn URL, or home address. These contact details go directly into your CV document without passing through any AI model.
How AI providers protect your data
We use commercial AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini, or OpenAI) under formal data processing agreements. These agreements require that:
- Your data is not used to train their AI models
- Data is processed only to return your result — not retained or reused by the provider
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections
Your CV file
The CV file you upload is stored temporarily on our servers to extract its text for analysis, then permanently deleted after 7 days. It is never shared with employers, recruiters, job boards, or any other party.
Who we never share your data with
We never share your CV, job descriptions, or personal information with:
- Employers or recruiters
- Job boards or recruitment platforms
- Advertising networks or data brokers
- Any party not directly needed to operate the service
